The Birth of Seven Crown Co.

 Seven Crown Co., was birthed in the middle of 2020 when I felt led to do something creative that would also share the love of Christ with the world. It was also during a time of fear, panic, confusion and a lot of free time.

 My family and I had just moved into a new home and I would feel this subtle yet strong urge to make up designs. I’m no artist, so my version of design was simple and often felt plain. The very first design that I created was “Fearfully & Wonderfully Made”.  I remember sitting there for hours trying to get the vision from my head into an actual design. My husband would say, “You’re still working on that design? What is it for?” To be honest, I wasn’t really sure at the time, but once the design became perfect in my eyes, I would just know to stop. This would happen after every design I created. However, the question remained, what was all this for?

 Now, I’m the type of person that will find the drink ware section in any stores like Ross, Marshall, etc. It’s just something about looking at all the pretty mugs that makes me happy. So, one day while we were in one of those stores, the thought came to me to put the designs on a mug. I had toyed with the idea of having them on sweatshirts, but didn’t want to deal with inventory of different sizes. I am also not fond of “drop shipping”, so that was definitely out of the question.

 I thought to myself that would be so cool to have a subtle daily reminder. Especially in the mornings, when you need to set your thoughts on those things that are above. I started researching equipment and the competition in my particular niche. There were thousands upon thousands of beautiful, colorful, vibrant designs, and here I am with SIMPLE, one word (right). “It’s not about you,” I would feel in my spirit, “It’s about sharing the gospel how I created you to do.” Okay, who could argue with that, and also, it took the pressure off of me to be something that I was not, or copy and paste someone else’s vision.

 The ONE goal I knew from the very beginning has always been to reference the scripture, not have the full thing written out. Why you ask? Because…. my heart is for you to see the scripture referenced, and if you are or not familiar with it, you’ll grab your Bible and search. While you search, I pray that you not only find the scripture, but you have an encounter with the Father.   

 So, there you have it! In a nutshell this is how Seven Crown Co. came to be….
